Here at Elite Sporting Tours Japan we have been lucky to host a hundreds of golf enthusiasts from all over the world and showcase the best that Japan has to offer. Here is some feedback from some of our recent travellers.
He is treated with legendary golfer status when visiting golf clubs of the highest ilk in Japan. All courses are accessible to Paul and Elite Sports. Courses in Japan are of an excellent standard and guarantee a great golfing experience. I am able to compare against courses throughout the world and rate golf in Japan as competitive to most destinations.
Paul enabled me to complete the Top 100 Courses in the World 2003 list by gaining access to courses including: Tokyo GC, Hakone GC, Naruo GC and Kawana GC. We also played some great courses at the foot of the dramatic Mt Fuji.
The great benefits of golfing in Japan include: similar time zone to Australia, relatively short overnight flight, great dining experiences with outstanding food and of course, great golf and camaraderie with caddies and polite Japanese culture.
I look forward to my next golf tour to Japan, this time to Hokkaido with Elite Sports and Paul Sheehan who has impeccable contacts and knowledge of a great place to play golf and dine. It is also a unique pleasure to play a round with Paul.
Played some spectacular courses and ate some amazing food. None of which could have been achieved without Paul San. In fact, once we left Tokyo I wouldn’t have been able to order anything! Thanks to Paul’s language skills.
Paul is great fun to travel with snd excellent in a group situation when dealing with lots of different requests. Even managed to get him to take us shopping to a great outlet mall where we loaded up.
At the end of our trip we added an art component and visited Naoshima Island and stayed at Benesse House visiting their contemporary museum and others in the town. It was a great way to finish off the trip. Golf is good but there’s so much on offer in Japan!
Japan is kooky and amazing and not to be missed. Their golf clubs are so beautiful. I can’t wait to return and do the Hokkaido trip.
Cultural experiences accompanied by explanations relating to them were continual and enlightening. The organisation of cuisine was first class.
The coordination of transport and the booking of spectacular golf courses was excellent. All these made for an all-round great experience for everybody involved.
Paul Sheehan is obliging and a wonderful host. He could not do enough for us. I wish Paul and Elite continuing success.
I thank Paul for his attention to the group interests, his standing in the golf community in Japan, and the care and attention he afforded the group. His efforts led to a wonderful experience of golf in Japan and Japanese culture. Pauls professionalism and general goodwill was very much enjoyed and appreciated by the tour group.
My personal thanks and congratulations, Paul, for a very rewarding trip. One which I hope to repeat to a different area of the country soon.
His extensive knowledge of Japan and his research means that we play on great golf courses some only accessible through his contacts, eat very well and stay in fascinating places. His attention to detail and his concern for his guests makes a big impact on the ease of travel and the relaxed atmosphere of the tours.
I have particularly enjoyed the times when local players or officials realised that his is the 2006 Japan open winner and have basked in his reflected glory and the warmth and hospitality which had been extended to his guests.
The tours with a group of friends have been terrific fun but so also have the tours with people previously unknown to me and I have made some new friendships as a result.
